About the property
This modern, rural holiday home between La Roche-en-Ardenne and La Baraque de Fraiture is an oasis of cosiness and is suitable for a stay of up to 8 people.
On the ground floor, the holiday home has a cosy living room with a wood-burning stove, a spacious dining room and a generously equipped kitchen with a cooking island. There is table football for the children (and adults).
On the first floor you will find 4 bedrooms, 2 of which have a double bed and 2 of which have 2 single beds, as well as 3 bathrooms.
The outdoor area is characterised by a stylish pool (open from 01/06-30/09) made from an old shipping container, a sauna with fantastic views into the distance and a covered terrace with a jacuzzi, ideal for relaxing. There is also a barbecue at your disposal, perfect for spending wonderful evenings outdoors.
Enjoy the local gastronomy in the numerous restaurants and cafés, which offer traditional dishes and regional specialities. A trip to nearby Modave Castle is well worthwhile. It is a beautiful example of Walloon architecture and offers guided tours. Visit the ruins of the medieval castle of La Roche, which offers an impressive view of the surrounding area and provides an insight into the history of the region. Explore the pleasures of skiing at Samrée and La Baraque de Fraiture in winter, then let yourself be seduced by the superb hiking these sites offer in other seasons.
