The villa is located in Marcq-en-Barœul, just 14 kilometres from Lille. Set on a large private estate of 8,500 m², the property features a beautiful garden and a pond. Children can play freely while adults relax and take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Just 4 kilometres from the villa, you will find all the amenities you need, including a supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, butcher and more. Everything is therefore close by and easily accessible. This makes it easy to do your shopping during your stay and enjoy fresh bread and delicious French croissants in the morning.

The house and its facilities

The accommodation can host up to 10 guests. As soon as you enter through the front door, you arrive in the entrance hall. The house is spread over two floors.

On the ground floor, you will find a spacious and bright living area with a living room, dining room and open-plan kitchen. Thanks to the many large windows and glass doors, the rooms are filled with natural light throughout the day. You can also enjoy lovely views of the grounds from the living area. The living room is the perfect place to spend time together. Make yourself comfortable on one of the two large sofas or in one of the armchairs and enjoy the cosy atmosphere. The open fireplace adds an extra touch of warmth and charm. Next to the living room, the dining room can comfortably seat 8 people around the large dining table. The large windows also make this room bright and welcoming. The large glass doors provide direct access to the terrace, with views over the grounds. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals during your stay. There is also a high table with four chairs, providing seating for 4 people. Another great advantage is the direct access from the kitchen to the terrace. This makes it easy to enjoy meals outside or bring food to the terrace without having to walk through the entire house.

Upstairs, you will find five bedrooms and three bathrooms.

The spacious master bedroom features a comfortable queen-size bed and a private bathroom. The bathroom is equipped with a freestanding bathtub and a double washbasin. The four other bedrooms include one double bedroom, two attic bedrooms with sloping ceilings and a double bed in each, and a bedroom with bunk beds, which is ideal for children.

The house has three bathrooms in total. Towels and toiletries are provided, so you do not need to bring your own.

For families with young children, various baby facilities are also available, including a travel cot, baby cot and high chair.

The outdoor area

One of the biggest highlights of this property is its spacious private estate of 8,500 m². There is plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors, and everyone can easily find their own favourite spot.

On arrival, you will find 8 parking spaces in front of the house, making it easy for everyone to park. There is also an electric vehicle charging station on site.

Children have not been forgotten either: there is a swing in the garden for them to enjoy. The entire property is also fully enclosed, allowing you to enjoy the outdoor areas with peace of mind.

In the middle of the grounds, a pond creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. You can watch the ducks and, if you are lucky, you may even spot a swan. There are also several fruit trees on the property.

Close to the house, you will find a lovely terrace, the perfect place to enjoy a barbecue together and make the most of long, sunny days. Next to it, a second terrace is located by the swimming pool, with several sun loungers where you can relax in the sun after a few laps in the pool. And then we come to one of the absolute highlights of the property: the beautiful indoor swimming pool. The pool is located under a veranda and benefits from plenty of natural light thanks to the large windows. It is a wonderful place for both children and adults to enjoy. After swimming, you can relax in one of the armchairs around the pool while keeping an eye on the children playing in the water. For even more relaxation, there is also a jacuzzi, the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a peaceful moment.

For those who like to stay active, there are also several games available. You can challenge each other to a game of **darts or table tennis**, perfect for enjoying fun and sociable moments with family or friends.

The surrounding area

Just 14 kilometres from Lille, you can easily discover this beautiful city and its rich history during your stay.

Start your visit in Vieux-Lille, the historic district of the city. Stroll through its beautiful cobbled streets, admire the colourful façades and discover the many small shops. Be sure to take the time to eat at a typical local “estaminet”, a traditional restaurant from the region, and try some local specialities. If you have a sweet tooth, you can also try a Merveilleux de Lille, a delicious local speciality.

Would you like to see Lille from above? Climb the belfry of the Town Hall and enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of Lille and the surrounding area from a height of 104 metres.

Culture lovers can also visit the Palais des Beaux-Arts, one of France’s most important museums. It houses a large and varied collection of works of art.
