“Luxembourg Ardennes Trails – Forest & Water – Fischbach Circuit Hike” – Hiking in Northern Luxembourg

On 27/04/2025, we didn’t set off from a holiday home for once—but further down you’ll find vacation rentals located directly on the trail. You can find the hike on komoot under: Luxemburger Ardennenpfade – Wald & Wasser – Rundwanderung Fischbach: It starts in Fischbach: After peaceful stretches of paved and field paths, you soon find yourself in bright beech and spruce woods. From kilometer 3 onward, narrow trails wind along the Our slope, offering impressive views down into the valley at Kasselslay. A picturesque stream crossing leads you onto relaxed riverside paths before a powerful final climb crowns the panorama from the forest hill. The gentle descent through Roder and past the small chapel provides a celebratory finale.

Our Personal Favorites:

  • Sushilovers 🍣 should plan a detour to Restaurant Kami in Troisvierges: the menu ranges from nigiri, maki, ura-maki, and temaki to Japanese-inspired appetizers, fresh salads, and hot wok dishes with chicken, beef, duck, and seafood. Everything can be ordered online—even delivered straight to your holiday home.
  • At the Primavera Ristorante🍝 in the Shopping Center Massen in Wemperhardt , savor delicious Italian specialties at fair prices—and on nice days, the terrace offers a wonderful view of the surrounding landscape.
  • Restaurant K in Huldange combines cozy and modern ambiance with classic hospitality—perfect for anyone who values good cuisine and stylish surroundings. In summer months especially, be sure to reserve early for a spot on the back terrace.
  • If you fancy Italian food combined with fresh fish, then we recommend the Casa 56 in Weiswampach - a modern Italian seafood restaurant with a great wine list. Try the carte blanche surprise menu from the chef; you won’t be disappointed.
